We've made it to 1500 supporters on the day of release for Dead Rising 4. It's been a long and bumpy road. We didn't succeed with our goal so we're still stuck with this "Hank East" character in Dead Rising 4. It may be the end of T.J. Rotolo as Frank West. Bad news, I know, but judging from the direction they took Dead Rising 4 in along with the direction they took Frank, I'm not so sure I would've liked T.J. as the new Frank. New Frank has been written so obnoxiously and he really just seems to have no off switch whatsoever with his constant spewing of one-liners and poorly written jokes. T.J as Frank would've been a step in the right direction, sure, but the game wouldn't be the same Dead Rising we all want without some drastic rewrites and maybe restoring some of the scrapped core features that used to make Dead Rising the very unforgiving, but very rewarding experience it once was. Dead Rising 4 has released, and so, that means it's too late for T.J. as Frank for this zombie outing, but it doesn't mean we need to stay silent about the changes we don't like with the game. Just the opposite, really. So, I've spent the last few days working very hard to bring you this video that I hope you'll enjoy. It focuses on just about every problem I have with Dead Rising 4. This might be the last post I have for this petition, so I'd like to just say thank you to all of you that have supported the petition, one last time. Thank you. Without you, we never would've caught the attention of Capcom Vancouver, and while that's not a very good consolation prize, I'd say getting support from the real Frank West was pretty much the best thing we could've gotten, short of our goal.
