Only days after an 18 yr old gunman took 19 lives at a Texas elementary school, The NRA will host its annual NRA-ILA leadership forum in Houston, TX at George R. Brown Convention Center at 2pm. Amongst the largely Republican speakers who will address the conference will be Texas Governor Greg Abbot, Former President Donald Trump, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Texas Representative Dan Crenshaw, and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem. According to the NRA’s website, this will be celebration of “freedom, firearms, and the second amendment”. Sign this petition to cancel this event out of respect for the victims and their families. This event is tone deaf and unbecoming of Texas’s elected officials days after innocent children were massacred at school thanks to the loose gun laws of the state.
