DAN ANDREWS WILL NOT GET HIS STATUE
The Destroyer of Victoria — denied his statue and left humiliated by his own party.
Last year, I launched the NO STATUE FOR DAN ANDREWS campaign and Parliamentary petition calling for this statue to be stopped. Labor voted it down.
The campaign helped raise public awareness of the many reasons Daniel Andrews — a Premier who did enormous damage to Victoria — should never be memorialised with a taxpayer-funded statue.
I accept that our campaign and the tens of thousands who signed our two petitions were not the sole reason it was eventually cancelled. However, we laid the foundation and did the hard work that eventuated in the statues demise.
Those voices mattered, and I thank every person who signed, along with Moira Deeming MP, Ann-Marie Hermans MP and David Davis MP for supporting the Parliamentary petition.
Get Ready For Labor's Civil War
The decision to cancel the statue came down to temporary Premier Ben Carroll and will almost certainly trigger a vicious factional war with Labor’s powerful Socialist Left faction, where Andrews and Jacinta Allan are aligned.
Labor’s Left hates Ben Carroll and the right faction, and Carroll has just delivered the ultimate humiliation to the Socialist Left’s hero.
Make no mistake — Ben Carroll is about to get a new one ripped into him, perhaps twice: first from Labor's socialist left, and again from Victorian voters.
In many ways, the demise of the Andrews statue symbolises the collapse of this horrid government and its extraordinary disrespect for Victorians. Now Victorians have one job this November: VOTE LABOR OUT
Thank you for your support.
Victoria can and will be great again.
