The decision to screen Jungkook's /JK's movie in the illegal apartheid occupation entity known as Israel is more than just a simple movie screening decision for entertainment; it symbolizes a form of endorsement and support for the genocidal and apartheid occupation entity of Israel.

Normalization of an apartheid occupation entity engaging in genocide through the arts, cultural events, and academics is against the principles of the BDS movement and more specifically the academic and cultural boycott called by PACBI - Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel.

More importantly - it is Trafalgar in partnership with HYBE as well as all their subsidiaries profiteering off the genocide, occupation, and apartheid of the Palestinian people. 

By choosing to proceed with these screenings, HYBE Corporation and Trafalgar Releasing are normalizing and condoning actions of the illegal apartheid occupation known as Israel that the International Criminal Court (ICC), international experts, and humanitarian organizations have found violating international humanitarian law including the Geneva conventions.

This ongoing effort by HYBE and Trafalgar Releasing with this second screening of another BTS members film in Israel undermines the voices of those who seek accountability and justice for the victims of this genocide.

I, along with fellow fans of Jungkook/JK of BTS, am starting this petition to urge HYBE Corporation, HYBE America, and all subsidiaries in partnership with Trafalgar Releasing to cancel all screenings in illegal apartheid occupation entity known as Israel that has been for 76 years and currently ACTIVELY engaged in violation of international laws, genocide, sexual assault, torture, occupation, apartheid, and resource theft of and from Palestinians in occupied Palestine. 

We continue to call on the A.R.M.Y. fandom and all fandoms under the HYBE conglomerate to boycott all screenings as a part of the ongoing HYBE boycott called as a part of the #HybeDivestFromZionism ##하이브는시오니스트를퇴출하라 backed by BDS Korea, BDS & PACBI. 

For 76 years and counting the Israeli occupation has been perpetrating severe and violent attacks against the Palestinian people and the sovereignty of the nation of Palestine.

Various experts, humanitarian organizations, and nations have classified these actions as acts of genocide.

We cannot, in good conscience, financially support this situation while innocent lives are being lost, and countless others are suffering from starvation, bombings, and mass killings.

Our fandom advocates for an end to the occupation, an end to the genocide of the Palestinian people, and a Free sovereign Palestine.

It's crucial for companies like HYBE Corporation and Trafalgar Releasing to consider the ethical implications of their decisions and take a stand against injustice as the International Criminal Court (ICC) has made it clear in its advisory opinion issued on 7/19/2024 - that they are complicit and can be held accountable under the law.
