We the undersigned,

Call on the Federal Government of Canada to:

• Dedicate research into a Guaranteed Basic Income Strategy
• Implement a set of national standards 
• Create a national strategy that benefits all Canadians

A Guaranteed Basic Income Strategy in Canada will:

1. Address income inequality which threatens our democracy.
2. Create a floor for lower income earners to stand on while maintaining a sense of dignity.
3. Reduce income inequality exacerbated by the recent pandemic
