The current Trump administration of the United States of America is an economic and violent militaristic threat that seeks to upend the peace of North America, inflicting catastrophe on all parties involved. As it becomes more and more clear that we cannot negotiate with or deter the president, we must seek more drastic forms of deterrence. Our Parliament must seriously consider readdressing the question of Canadian nuclear proliferation. If we are to continue on our current trajectory, such a consideration will become inevitable.
