Kwey (Hello),
Today I published a new page on my website. This page has important information regarding my 28 year Section 15 Charter struggle regarding the ongoing sex discrimination against mothers and children when a father's signature is not on a child's birth certificate. This sex discrimination was "invented" in 1985 as standard policy by AANDC as a measure to continue to deny Indigenous treaty rights and women's knowledge.
At this link - see below - you will find a short history of the longtime sex discrimination, the efforts taken by Indigenous women to eliminate it, a timeline of my court case, additional quick links, and the location and dates when the legal arguments will be heard in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice. I hope to see some supportive faces.
