I made her a video: Without you, it'll be hard

Losing my sister two years ago was a life-altering event for our family. We, as siblings, harbored a dream: "A dream to show our parents the world beyond our homeland, the Philippines". With her tragic departure, the dreams felt as though they were slipping through our fingers due to practical challenges linked with my being the sole working member of the family.

Travel is beneficial for elderly individuals, contributing to healthy aging and improved life satisfaction. It's also a great opportunity to create lifelong memories with loved ones. Aging parents deserve to relish the joys of travel and experience life beyond their routine surroundings.

We, therefore, urge the authorities and civic bodies to put in place accessible and affordable family travel schemes for economically challenged families with aging parents, thereby enabling them to live out their dreams.
