Remove assaulting football players from team and fire coaches

Remove assaulting football players from team and fire coaches

The Issue

No one should ever be treated this way.  No matter what colors you wear, what color your skin is, what your religion or sexual preference is, we are all humans and deserve to be treated equally.  A junior varsity player for Camden County, GA High School was beat down by other players for wearing the wrong colors at a varsity football game last week.  He wore the wrong color T-shirt to support his girlfriend who was a cheerleader in the game.

The coaches stood and watched this beating take place, nothing was done by the supervisors.  The school board announced that proper "consequences" have been taken.  Anyone who knows how much Camden county loves football, also knows that no actions will be taken against their football players or any of the football coaching staff.  Let us join together to ensure that proper actions are taken to show that this type of behavior will not be tolerated.

Let us put an end to this type of favoritism and have the football players who assaulted this poor young man suspended from school and banned from playing on any Camden County sport ever again.  As for the coaches who watched, should be fired from Coaching and teaching positions until the end of the GBI investigation.  After the GBI investigation, ensure proper disciplinary and legal actions are taken.

No longer will Camden County School faculty and School board Officials brush matters like this aside, for the name of their football team.  No human deserves to be treated like this now, or in the future.  We Can't change the past, but we can learn from it and change the future, let's make this school system safer for our children, save them from faculty and students like this.  Wake up Camden County Parents! and let your voices be heard.

Thank you for taking the time to read my petition and I hope all of you join me in making the right decision to take action.
