250 supporters!

Hello everyone, Thanks for signing the petition about the street lights in Chatteris. Because of you, we've managed to hit 250 signatures! I've sent the details of the petition over to The Fenland Citizen. Hopefully it will appear in next week's edition. If you've not yet shared this with your friends then please do. The more signatures we get over the next few days, the more attention the papers will give this. That will hopefully put more pressure on the county council to intervene and make sure that the views of the Christmas Lights committee and In Bloom are taken into account. In the meantime, I've also emailed Balfour Beatty to ask for an update on their plans. I've made sure that the Chairman and Vice-Chairman of the county council are aware of the situation, too.
