Thank you your signature has made a big difference. The school board has acknowledged our request. We just need you to do one last step- complete the survey below which will only take 2 minutes.

There is now a survey for any Gwinnett county citizen to fill out and pick one of the four calendar options for the 2023-2024 school year  Calendar options 2 and include Eid, Diwali, Yom Kippur, and Rosh Hashanah.

If you live in Gwinnett county I urge you to take this 2-minute survey  The deadline is October 31. For guidance on what to select so that these holidays are excused you can use the below guide.

  4. Reducing February Break
  5. Reducing Fall Break
  6. Reducing Winter Break

In the comments section specify that Eid should be an official holiday on the GCPS calendar.
