In 2014, Pat Trice was interim superintendent then she was named VSDB Superintendent in 2015. Pat Trice has not shown satisfactory performance with her duties as Superintendent of VSDB. As of her tenure we have noticed the following concerns and demand the removal of Superintendent Pat Trice: 

Reasons: 
1. Oppression towards deaf community, lack of inclusivity and transparency in Deaf community
2. Oppressed the students at VSDB, took away their 1st amendment right: Freedom of Speech! The students voiced their opinions, drew posters and made their own petition to keep Cardinals as their mascot. Superintendent Trice ordered staff to take them down and for the students to stop passing their petition around.

4. Control by restricting students/staff from expressing concerns
