PETITION TO RECALL CURRENT WILLIAMSBURG HOA BOARD OF DIRECTORS PRESIDENT

The Situation :

Williamsburg is a vibrant and welcoming community, known for its strong sense of pride and unity among its residents. The neighborhood is home to a diverse and collective group of individuals who deeply value their shared space, working together to maintain a safe, clean, and inclusive environment. Whether through community events, volunteer efforts, or simply supporting local businesses, the people of Williamsburg demonstrate a genuine commitment to one another and to the continued growth and improvement of their neighborhood. This strong community spirit makes Williamsburg not just a place to live, but a place to truly belong. The Board of Directors President is the only thing that needs to change. Help our community thrive by electing a new Board of Directors President

The Fix: sign this petition and include your home address. 

We, the undersigned members in good standing of the Williamsburg Homeowners Association (HOA), pursuant to the governing documents of the association and applicable state laws, hereby petition for the removal of the current Board of Directors President

Grounds for Recall:

1.) making the independent decisions prior to full board approval.

2.) openly expressing discontentment and lack of care for the best interest of our community members. 

3.) complete lack of transparency                

      A. they have shut down all open forum meetings. Not allowing the community members ask questions or have involvement. 

      B. refusal to publish meeting schedule.

4.) the President creating a hostile work environment for our management company, leaving Williamsburg without proper oversight for a period of time. 

5.) failure to uphold fiduciary duty to which the held positions require.

        A. allowing spouses to gain and remain in access to HOA email account.

        B. allowing spouses to create outgoing communication to be published to the community.

        C. divulging Executive Session decisions to others and allowing that Board privileged information to be published on unofficial forums.

        D. refusal to meet to address management decisions, leaving the community vulnerable.

        E.  improperly denying legitimate reimbursements for Williamsburg residents.

        F.  making false statements involving law enforcement and our community.

        G.  forcing payment of vendors without proper documentation or going through the vendor screening process. 

  6.)  community wide financial instability

        A.  Uncollected dues can negatively impact the HOA's budget, leading to a shortfall for essential services like landscaping or pool repairs.  

  7.)  failure to publish current meeting minutes to the community in legal time frame 

        *potential for unethical behavior

        *violation of governing documents

        *violation of laws

        *lack of transparency

Requested Action:

In accordance with TX House Bill 4265, we request the recall of the current Board of Directors President of the Williamsburg Fate HOA. We understand that the bill allows property owners holding at least 20% of voting interests to petition for a recall election of a board members through a special meeting.
