I want to sincerely thank everyone who supported my petition calling for Mayor Aidan McLindon's resignation as Mayor of the City of Whittlesea. Your voices made it clear that our community deserves leadership we can trust and puts us first.

To be clear, my petition was calling for his resignation as Mayor — not for a suspension or any other action. It has always been about ensuring accountable and respectful leadership for the City of Whittlesea after being in the hands of the Administrators over the last 4 years.

And again as it has been mentioned in a number of interviews, that I'm part of the woke Labor machine and pushing for his removal. I am not associated with any political party, and I believe that what I was standing up for was for someone who wanted to put us residents and the issues in our city first. 

I also find it interesting that alot of the post's  / comments that were slung back at us my the now former Mayor have disappeared from socials.

There is a distance to go and anything that has come out of this is i hope that the independent inquiry into the Governance at our local council can help shape better outcomes for everyone.
