We have now contacted the EMA staff informing them of our demands.

Good morning, 

It has been six days since we launched the petition, and we have already amassed more than 100 signatures. It's been six days since the ICC chief prosecutor proposed an arrest warrant for the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, and the Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant. However, just this morning, we received news of another Israeli air strike in Rafah on a camp for displaced Palestinians, reminding us that there is still a need for more concrete action to end these war crimes. 

The EMA staff have now been contacted with an email detailing our demands as per the petition information - requesting the immediate suspension of the proposed internship with the Delegation of the EU for Israel in Tel Aviv.

Thank you kindly to everyone who has signed, and especially to the EMA masters students of the 2023/2024 class*. 

We will now await the response of the staff, and share with you all the response. We hope to be able to claim victory shortly and close this petition. If not, we will contact you again through this update portal about our next steps as a team committed to solidarity with Palestinian Liberation.
