Instead, he has fed off of the salty tears shed by an uncountable number of people around the world. Empires have literally risen and fallen in a period of 20 years. There is no doubt that a portion of Valve's most dedicated of fans have lived and died awaiting its release, to their very final breath. Instead he cowers in the deep recesses of Valve's office building reading Half Life 3 fanfiction while mocking loyal fans in the most cruel and heartless manner imaginable. There is no earthly reason why Mr. Newell should not fulfill his commitment to gamers around the world and it is an insult to the video game industry collectively.
