We want the UK Government to oppose unilateral measures that change the legal status, historic character or demographic composition of East Jerusalem. We also ask it to support the historic Status Quo at the Muslim and Christian Holy Sites and recognise the Hashemite Custodianship in its diplomatic engagement.

We believe the UK should uphold international law and help protect Jerusalem’s religious and cultural heritage. Supporting the Status Quo and Hashemite Custodianship can safeguard freedom of worship and contribute to a just and lasting peace.
