Call on Governor Sisolak to Address Violence in Clark County and Nevada Schools!

Call on Governor Sisolak to Address Violence in Clark County and Nevada Schools!
The Issue
As Nevada has learned during COVID, our schools are the foundation for our economy. Without schools being open, people are unable to work, which hurts all of us. This school year the violence in our schools has gone up. Some staff and students are terrified to go into school buildings. The particularly brutal attack on a teacher at Eldorado HS has shaken our district to its core. Educators don't see CCSD doing enough to keep us safe. We have begged for immediate safety measures but what is being offered falls far short of our needs. We are calling on Governor Sisolak to prove he's the education governor and call a Special Session to address violence in our schools. If the Governor fails to act quickly there won't be enough staff members to open all schools safely for the 2022-2023 school year.
