Many will argue that Formula 1 is simply a sport, a past-time for enthusiasts. However, to me, it’s much more than that. It was the beacon of hope that rescued me from the abyss of suicidal thoughts, offering me an escape and providing me with a sense of community, exhilaration, and purpose. Hence, it pains me to witness the essence of Formula 1 jeopardized under the leadership of Muhammed Bin Sulayem.

Ben Sulayem's presidency of the FIA brings negative impacts to the Formula 1 community. His leadership style and decision-making process appear to lack transparency and fairness, causing distress among the fans and drivers alike. Ensuring the integrity of professional competition is essential, it's not only about respect for the sport, but it's also about respect for the millions of people worldwide who find solace, joy, and purpose in it, just like I did.

We cannot overlook a president’s role in upholding the values, rules, and spirit of such a beloved sport. We need a leader who will keep these aspects at its forefront and promote the growth and development of Formula 1 without losing its essence.
