Hi all,

Thank you for signing the petition,

Please could everyone who can send an email to Shabana Mahmood with regards to her inability to represent her constituents in voting for a ceasefire to the conflict in Gaza, Palestine.

Over 13,000 civilian have now lost their lives in Gaza, Palestine. I wonder at what number of civilian deaths would Ms Mahmood deem it right for her to vote for a ceasefire to this humanitarian crisis.

Email template as below:

Dear Shabana Mahmood,

I have noted you have abstained from the ceasefire vote in Parliament on 15th November 2023.

I felt you would have represented your constituents with strength and integrity in voting for a ceasefire to the devastating conflict in Gaza, Palestine.

Thousands of innocent civilians have lost their lives in Gaza, Palestine and without a ceasefire thousands more now will be threatened. Numerous humanitarian organisations have called for a ceasefire to end the horrific suffering, which includes the United Nations, the World Health Organisation, Oxfam and Save the Children.

I am extremely disappointed in your stance in not voting for a ceasefire given the immeasurable suffering which has occurred and will now continue occurring in Gaza.

I have noted several of your colleagues, including eight shadow secretaries have resigned in order to vote for a ceasefire because they understood the importance of standing up for what is morally correct.

Please outline your reasons for not voting for a ceasefire.

Kind regards,
