The Issue

I am an ex-Labour Party member, a mother, a grandmother, a great grandmother, a Muslim and above all, a human being. I grew up in a Labour stronghold, east London dockland in the 1960s, where socialism created unity, and looking out for the vulnerable. I find it deeply troubling to accept Keir Starmer's support for a regime that is responsible for the slaughter of hundreds of thousands and is currently erasing all records and registers of an entire nation.

Keir Starmer's position as leader of the Labour Party gives him significant influence over national policy. His endorsement of such actions is not only morally reprehensible but also goes against the values that our society holds dear - respect for human rights and dignity.

The United Nations has reported numerous instances where this regime has violated international law (source: UN reports). The sheer scale and severity of these violations are alarming. Yet, Mr. Starmer continues to support this regime.

It is time we hold our leaders accountable for their actions or lack thereof in this case. We must demand better from those who represent us on both national and international platforms.

We call upon you to sign this petition urging Keir Starmer to step down from his position as leader of the Labour Party due to his support for such an oppressive regime. Let us stand together against any form of oppression or injustice.
