This is a petition calling for the immediate resignation of Dr. John Lewis, Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Bob Jones University. This resignation is long overdue. This afternoon (3/30/23), Dr. Steve Pettit resigned as the President of BJU after calling for Dr. Lewis' resignation due to a carefully outlined and documented letter recounting Dr. Lewis' dysfunctional leadership, and unethical behavior. As alumni, students, faculty, and friends of BJU, we call for the immediate resignation of Dr. John Lewis and the reinstatement of Dr. Steve Pettit as President of BJU.
