As students of McGill University, we are deeply disturbed by the actions of the Solidarity for Palestinian Human Rights (SPHR) club. They have recently claimed that terrorist attacks in Israel are "heroic attacks" and glorify the civilian hostages taken on social media, all while representing the university. This is not only offensive but also dangerous, as it promotes violence and hatred. It is unacceptable that such a group should be part of our Student Society (SSMU) and receive funding from students.

McGill University has always been known for its commitment to fostering an inclusive and respectful community. Allowing a group like SPHR to operate within our university contradicts this commitment.

We must take action against this, Let's stand together as students and alumni of McGill University against any form of terrorism endorsement within our institution! Please sign this petition urging the administration to take disciplinary action in response to hateful speech by SPHR McGill and take necessary action on the executive committee of the group immediately!
