1. Britain Against Cancer conference - 5 December. Cheryl Cruwys hand delivered the global density summary document (with petition comments) to MPs, breast cancer charity chief executives and the Dept. of Health. 2. Discussions with private healthcare organisations have resulted in potential changes - it is being recommended that density is added to mammogram results as standard and looking at wording for women to be able to action. Watch this space. 3. Pre-Christmas, at a Westminster Health Questions session, this will be asked: 'Research shows that Breast Density is a strong predictor of developing breast cancer, yet many women remain unaware of this risk. What steps are being taken to educate women on this potentially life saving information?' 4. Discussions continue with the Royal College of GPs to explore educational opportunities for GPs.
