To all concerned members of our Catholic and non-Catholic community,

The essence of the Catholic faith is built on trust, love, and a commitment to truth and justice. Over time, these values have been jeopardized by specific leadership decisions, actions, and inactions that have been detrimental to the well-being of our children and the trust of our community.

We, the undersigned, are deeply concerned about the leadership and administrative roles currently held by Archbishop Thomas Rodi, Father Bry Shields, and Ms. Michelle Haas within our Archdiocese and McGill Toolen Catholic High School.

**Concerns Raised:**

For decades, there have been deeply troubling cover-ups within the Archdiocese and McGill, particularly related to child predators, encompassing both sexual and emotional misconduct. The collective leadership of Archbishop Thomas Rodi, Father Bry Shields, and Ms. Michelle Haas has been made aware of these misdeeds on multiple occasions by numerous concerned individuals.
Yet, the repeated reactions from this leadership have been alarmingly consistent:

- Dismissal of the claims without proper investigation.

- A visible reluctance or outright refusal to believe the victims.

- A lack of concrete action to address and rectify the reported issues.

The persistent pattern of these reactions not only fails to protect the most vulnerable members of our community but also erodes the trust and faith of all members in the integrity and moral compass of our leadership.

**Objective of this Petition:**

Our goal is not to tarnish the reputation of any individual but to ensure the safety, transparency, and integrity of our Catholic institutions and schools. We firmly believe that for the community to heal and move forward, there is a pressing need for a change in leadership.

We urge those in positions of higher authority within the Church to carefully consider our concerns and take appropriate actions.
The leadership of any religious institution plays a pivotal role in setting the moral and ethical standards for its members. It is paramount that these leaders exemplify the core values of our faith.
