When I heard the news this morning that there was going to be an upcoming 40K series starred by none other than the Warhammer communities favorite actor, Henry Cavill, I nearly had to pinch myself to see if it was truly real or just another one of those endless “rumors”. Well guys it’s been confirmed officially by Games Workshop that there is indeed going to be a 40K series coming to Amazon in the near future! 

This has been a long time coming and I’m so excited about the upcoming series. However, I wanted to shine a light on a faction that is a huge part of the 40K lore and had a big part to play in the Horus Heresy yet doesn’t get a lot of support and love from GW on a regular basis. Of course I’m talking about the Eldar….

As a race of enigmatic space elves with unrivaled prophetic powers and advanced technology I could see no other setting in which they could be better introduced onto the big screen than in this upcoming show and I would love to see this show shine a light on one of the most influential factions in the entire 40K universe and in this way boost the Eldar’s appeal to the 40K community (there are not many of us that play Eldar so it would be really cool to get new Eldar players into the hobby!!). 

The Eldar would make fantastic adversaries or Allies in any 40K feature and it is my hope that by starting this petition we can bring this to the attention of Warhammer’s prodigal son, Henry Cavill, who will be one of the Executive Producers of the upcoming show! I hope to get 300000 signatures with this petition to show that the community really want the enigmatic Eldar to make an appearance or two on the show!!
