You helps raise publicity of this issue and you were part of a larger effort of many groups to fight these literal military invasions of our cities.

We had a modest victory. The use of the military for civil repression has decreased. City ICE build-ups have likewise decreased. If this decrease lasts, it will be a good thing. However, it often seems as if the battlefield is merely shifting. The new ICE presence at the airports is an example--while ICE could legitimately help the TSA, the US Executive Branch expresses their use in a threatening manner. So the struggle goes on, and vigilance must be maintained. Again, thank you for your help and support in this cause!
