ÇA SUFFIT! Bruxelles n’est PAS une déchèterie : appel à une réforme ambitieuse de la collecte des poubelles.

Le nouveau système de collecte des poubelles mis en place depuis le 15 mai 2023 est inefficace et crée la confusion.

Le bien être des bruxelloises et bruxellois souffrent de la gestion calamiteuse de nos déchets et cette situation nuit gravement à l’identité de marque de la capitale.

Le système actuel pose problème pour les raisons suivantes :

• Les horaires pour sortir les poubelles sont parfois déconnectés des réalités bruxelloises.
• Les cas de ramassage hebdomadaire unique sont un réel problème pour ceux qui n’ont pas de local poubelles.
• L’approche est anachronique et le système ne s’inscrit pas dans une vision à long terme pour une meilleure gestion de la ville.

Ce que nous souhaitons :

• Des horaires de sortie plus étendus.
• Des fréquences de ramassage plus récurrentes.
• Une réflexion à plus long terme pour rendre nos rues plus propres qui inclurait l’usage des conteneurs par exemple.

ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Brussels is NOT a trash dump: call for an ambitious reform of trash collection.

The new waste collection system introduced on May 15, 2023 is inefficient and confusing.

The well-being of the people of Brussels is suffering from the calamitous management of our waste, and this situation is seriously damaging the capital’s brand identity.

The current system is problematic for the following reasons:

• Timetables for taking out the garbage bags are sometimes disconnected from Brussels’ realities.
• Once-a-week collections are a real problem for those who don’t have their own premises.
• The approach is antiquated and the system is not part of a long-term vision for a better city management.

What we want:

• More extended hours for taking out the trash.
• More recurrent collection frequencies.
• Longer-term thinking to make our streets cleaner, e.g. including the use of underground containers

HET IS GENOEG! Brussel is geen vuilnisbelt: oproep voor een ambitieuze hervorming van de vuilnisophaling.

Het nieuwe systeem voor vuilnisophaling dat op 15 mei 2023 wordt ingevoerd, is inefficiënt en verwarrend.

Het welzijn van de Brusselaars lijdt onder het rampzalige beheer van ons afval en deze situatie brengt ernstige schade toe aan de merkidentiteit van de hoofdstad.

Het huidige systeem levert om de volgende redenen problemen op:

• De tijdschema’s voor het buitenzetten van de vuilnisbakken sluiten soms niet aan bij de Brusselse realiteit.
• De wekelijkse ophaling is een echt probleem voor wie die niet genoeg panden hebben heeft.
• De aanpak is anachronistisch en het systeem past niet in een langetermijnvisie voor een beter beheer van de stad.

Wat we graag zouden zien:

1. Ruimere openingstijden.
2. Regelmatigere ophaalfrequenties.
3. Langetermijndenken om onze straten schoner te maken, inclusief het gebruik van containers bijvoorbeeld.
