Hello everyone!
another week has passed by and I want to say thank you so much to all of you who have been keep up with everything! It means a lot to me that we continue to push for change despite it being two weeks since it occurred.
However we must not stop even if time continues to go on. There has been NO proposed solution yet. We mustn’t forget that. We must continue to push for change, we must continue to demand answers, we must continue to take action and prove that we are not going to forget about this. This movement is not a trend. This is a movement to protect our community members, our school, our students, to continue to uphold our beliefs and bring justice to what is going on and what will continue to happen if we don’t DEMAND CHANGE NOW.
i want to remind everyone to keep sharing this petition. A gofundme is also live to help cover the costs of an event im planning on hosting. Please please please donate what you can! Whether it be cash in person, or just a dollar on the gofundme link, every little penny counts! I’m reserving spaces to hold this event where I will have different groups and organizations there and present to inform about different resources we have available from mental health, to immigration, to education, EVERYTHING! We will have local small businesses and artists there as well showing off their art and their works available for purchase! We will have vendors there selling baked goods, sweets, everything you can think of but please donate!
all proceeds will go 100% to this event. Everyone will be welcome, and you can bring a friend along to enjoy this with you! Please consider sharing and donating! The link will be attached so you can share it with everyone! It would mean the world to me! Reserving the spaces is expensive and there are so many fees that still are going to add up on top of it. Not to mention, this event is going to be FREE, or as LOW COST AS POSSIBLE. That includes drinks and snacks being free, art supplies being free, chalk for the kiddos attending the event being free, craft activities being free!
