Renee Nicole Good was a mother. She was a human being. And today, January 7th, 2026, her life was taken during an encounter involving U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Minneapolis.

Renee was inside her vehicle when an ICE agent fired multiple shots, killing her. Authorities have claimed the agent feared for his life, yet the publicly circulating video appears to show that no one was positioned in front of her vehicle at the time shots were fired. These contradictions demand answers, not silence.

This petition does not declare guilt. It calls for truth.

When a mother is killed by someone acting under the authority of the government, there must be transparency, accountability, and an independent investigation free from agency influence. Renee’s family deserves clear answers. The public deserves to know that deadly force is not used without necessity or consequence.

No agency should be above the law. No one should be above the law. When a life is taken, especially the life of a mother, justice requires oversight and, if wrongdoing is found, prosecution under the law.

Renee Nicole Good mattered. Her children deserved their mother. Her death must not be ignored or explained away.
