New Petition to the House of Representatives

Dear fellow petitioners,

I've set up a new CIR petition to the House of Representatives. It's much better written than 2025's one. If you see this update, please check it out at https://www.aph.gov.au/e-petitions/petition/EN10796

You can alternatively enter 'Petition EN10796 - Renewed consideration for Citizen initiated referendums' into your search engine. You'll find the petition on the Australian Parliament website's e-petition portal.

The deadline for signing is November 25th, 2026, at 11:59pm AEDT. I'm hoping that we'll get over the 50 signature threshold this time round.

In other news, my CIR petition to the Queensland Parliament is still open for signatures and is sitting at 585 signatures. Here's the link: https://www.parliament.qld.gov.au/Work-of-the-Assembly/Petitions/petition-details/4563-26

At the moment, One Nation is conducting a survey known as 'What's holding you back?' Since they are one of the Australian political parties that support CIRs, this is an opportunity to put pressure on them to initiate a new push for it. Please take the time to complete the survey, voice your support for our cause, and provide them with the link. I already have. You may not agree with them on everything, but we can at least agree on Australia's need for citizen initiated referendums. You don't have to like them either, but that shouldn't stop you from working with them on common ground. So please, seize this opportunity while it's there.

Til next update,

Noah Quinlan
