Hetty will be the much-needed voice for the voiceless, the marginalised and disenfranchised in the Australian Parliament in Canberra.

Hetty Johnston is fighting for a Royal Commission into the Family Law system and a better life for vulnerable people; this includes children, people with disabilities and older Australians. The family law system includes interactions with family courts, police and child safety. If Hetty is elected she will be the voice of the community sector in the Parliament. 

Through your work and your personal experience, you have come across a number of children and adults who have been dramatically affected as a result of rulings and systems from the Family Law Court system. 

Hetty has been a child protection advocate for over 30 years and had some big wins, State and Federal, on behalf of our most vulnerable children.

Hetty is an Independent and has made no deals with any political party. Hetty’s campaign is a genuine and grassroots campaign run entirely by volunteers who are fuelled by passion for this issue so we are asking as many people as we can to let them know Hetty is running for the Senate to stand up for our children and to fight for the non-profit organisations who are working for our children every day.
