Today, the California Circular Economy and Plastic Pollution Reduction Act was passed in both the Senate and Assembly Appropriations Committees in California. This milestone marks a critical win in the fight against plastic pollution. However, we still have some major hurdles to overcome before this bill becomes law, and we need your help.
We only have TWO WEEKS to pressure policy-makers to pass the bills and send them on to the full California State Senate and Assembly.
In the next 14-days, can we count on you to TAKE ACTION?
- Call your California Representative. The more people your Senators and Assembly members hear from right now, the more likely they are to pass these bills. Find your California Representative and call to tell them you support SB 54 and AB 1080.
- Share this petition with one friend. We will be presenting this petition directly with California policy-makers in person next week. Our goal is to show up to these meetings with 200,000 signatures.
