Judge Wells' department is current wasting enormous judicial resources filing nunc pro tunc rulings and setting special hearings for this considerable privilege. The hearings and rulings do not have any relevance especially with the listed case which corrected the order to attend mediation AFTER the mediation was already held, backdated to 11/14/2016 on 3/9/2017. A stipulated mediator's agreement was already filed by Judge Wells. Once again the parties are harassed by orders that do not have a legal relevance and are served with a clerk's certificate of mailing. The point of this exercise escapes any person capable of actually reading a court docket. There is not a single statutory basis for setting a proceeding in a court of law merely to correct an order that has no relevance. Other nunc pro tunc rulings are set and heard to correct the pleadings filed by an attorney or to correct the agreed upon stipulation signed by the relevant parties without obtaining the agreement for the "correction".
