Dear friends: Have you heard the expression "THE NEW NORMAL"? This is the euphemism politicians are using to "suggest" CLIMATE CHANGE. Is there a secret law that bans politicians for saying Climate Change? There must be one because even the politicians more convinced about Climate Change rarelly say Climate Change publicly. California examples are Governor Jerry Brown who publicly said "the New Normal" when came to visit the California areas destroyed by Fire Storms in October and in December of 2017, and James Gore, the chairman of the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors, who is struggling about coming out of the box and issuing a Climate Change Major Disaster Declaration. The New Normal is not only an unnecessary departure from the true terms of Climate Change and Global Warming but it's an inaccurate evaluation of Climate Change. The New Normal indicates a fixed new state of things and that is very far from the truth: the Climate is changing every day in the direction of more unfavorable conditions driven by the environmental inputs we have been dumping into the atmosphere since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution. What we can expect is that the Climate anomalies of years past are likely to be more pronounced in the present and in the future, WHAT SHOULD MOTIVATE ALL OF US TO MAKE CLIMATE RESTORATION AND CLIMATE CHANGE ADAPTATION THE NUMBER ONE PRIORITY OF EVERY COMMUNITY. In California Governor Jerry Brown said last year that "there is no fire season anymore", "we can expect wildfires all year round". 2018 is proving him right and after several smaller fires the Pawnee Fire was born in Lake County on Saturday 6/23/18 in the evening and now (6/26/18) is at 11,500 acres and only 5% contained. In the article below about the Pawnee Fire, a meteorologist said: "Weather is definitely a contributing factor to this fire,” said Matt Merle, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service. “The weather has been hot, dry and windy, which is a recipe for fires.” HE IS REALLY TALKING ABOUT THE NEW CLIMATE CONDITIONS THAT ESTABLISH THE WEATHER CONDITIONS BUT HE DOESN'T DARE TO SAY IT. Help us grow this petition to 100,000 signatures. California has to become Climate Change-Ready at the maximum speed.
