Dear friends:
Unprecedented Climate Change-related conditions have lit up Ventura, Los Angeles and San Bernardino Counties. The fires that started in Ventura County on Monday night have burnt over 100,000 acres so far, favored by the severe dry conditions on the ground, very low humidity and high winds with gusts of up to 80 mph that are forecast to last at least through Friday (12/8/17).
Two months after the catastrophic fire storms in Northern California, Southern California is burning during what is supposed to be the rainy season.
Flood California Governor Jerry Brown's office with phone calls (916-445-2841) to demand that he Declares Climate Change A Major Disaster Now. Tell him that we know that Climate Change is the culprit of these disasters. Do not wait any longer. We demand immediate action from our Climate Champion Jerry Brown. Show true Climate Change Action leadership.
