Dear friends: In the wake of Hurricane Harvey, 40 people have died (And the count continues to climb), over 100,000 homes have been destroyed and the estimated monetary cost is a staggering 190 billion US dollars. Americans have an international reputation of thinking first with their wallets. Will this enormous cost wake them up to the fact that Climate Change is not a cost they can just right off and that Climate Change will eventually destroy the economy of the richest country on Earth.
