We the undersigned do hereby petition the Minister of Justice of Alberta and the Calgary Rural Regional Crown Prosecutor's office to DROP ALL CHARGES against Mr. Edouard Maurice of Okotoks Alberta.

Eddie's defense of himself and his infant daughter in standing his ground against an illegal criminal trespass and robbery in progress under the cover of darkness by two repeat paroled criminals does not warrant ANY charges. Any young father home alone with a baby to protect is 100% justified in believing himself and the infant under imminent threat when two intruders trespass onto his property and start searching for items to steal. No parent would sit idle waiting to see if they were going to continue advancing as they were right into the house. Mr Maurice merely did what any responsible Canadian would, he prevented them from their threatening advance.

Drop the charges now, no jury in Alberta will sustain a conviction against Eddie.
