In August of this year The Dallas Morning news reported that Felipe Calderón was in meetings with Georgetown, Harvard and Stanford universities, as well as UT about a possible post.
As a man who is responsible for the death of more than 80,000 people due to his "war on drugs", he shouldn't be teaching anywhere. At least 1000 of the victims of his "war" were children. The UN Committee on the Rights of the Child expressed "great concern" over the killing of more than 1,000 minors during the past four years in the Mexican military's war on drugs. Violence exploded throughout the country, including places like schools and public squares. The strategy he followed was a failure and as a result of it there have been thousands of innocent deaths he disrespectfully called "collateral damage". On a different occasion he lied stating that all those people that had died were involved in drug dealing.
