Dear Supporters, I apologize, that it's been so long since my last update. The holiday season is upon us and many of you may have travel plans ahead. If you have pets it can become a question of how best to handle a vacation with or without them. There are many online sites that can give help in this area.  RV  (RV.com) is a magazine that's had a number of excellent articles regarding travel with pets. Just a quick note, I went to a Veterans information event on October 5.  At that event I met and spoke with Congressman Salud Carbajal.  During our brief talk I brought up this petition, mentioned that I have emailed him about this petition, and ask if he would look into it. He said he gets "thousands" of emails every day and since it is a "state issue" he is would keep an eye open for anything passing his desk in regards to this petition.  Thank you Congressman Carabjal.  And thank you petition supporters for your dedication to this cause. CalTans needs to scan for microchips on deceased pets found on highways and freeways.
