Dear Supporters, It's the first day of summer!  People will be vacationing and many will bring their family pet with them.  Campgrounds, parks, and beaches will be crowded and often times overwhelming for pets. Pets become afraid and run away.  They sometimes break loose from a leash or escape from an enclosure.  Be sure your pet is microchipped. Microchip identification has reunited 1,000s of lost cats and dogs with their owners.  However, in order to make that identification, a microchip scanner is needed and someone needs to use it.  Please support this petition, CalTrans needs to scan for microchips in pets...
