Hello supporters, It's June 8.  I live where three small communities are only a short distance apart. There is a social media site where people in these three towns post lost and found, most of the time it's cats and dogs.  Sometimes owners will post finding their pet, but more often they do not. It is always heart warming to see a post where Fluffy or Rover has found their way home.  I still receive calls where someone has seen a black cat like my Shadow laying on the side of Highway One.  I always drive down to the location to check.  It has never been Shadow and I hope that the rightful owner is found before CalTrans arrives. Be a pet safe owner and support CalTrans needs to scan for microchips.
