By-elections should be called if MPs change their political party mid term.

The Issue

In light of Mr. Kruger defecting from the Tory Party to Reform, I urge Members of Parliament to act with integrity, resign and then stand for a different political party in a by-election.  Constituents can then choose, again, which political party they wish to represent them.

If this does not happen, it means constituents do not have the correct representation in Parliament of their original political choice.  A system that allows this to continue is not democratic and is in need of reform.

I am sure MPs would agree this is undemocratic and should therefore this needs to be discussed as a matter of urgency in the House of Commons.
