Please Complete our beloved Srila Gurudeva's Samadhi!
The Issue
Dear devotees, Please accept my Dandavat Pranams. All glories to Sri Sri Radha Vinoda-Bihariji and our Guru Varga for Their unceasing mercy upon the hearts of the fallen and unhappy jiva's of this world.
It is with a heavy heart that I put this petition together. I was recently shown a photograph of Gurudeva's ' samadhi ', it brought me to tears, my heart is broken in multiple places. Thus far, it has taken the group of leaders involved with Gurudeva's samadhi, three years, to build 2 pillars!
If I was hiring someone to build a house, and it took them 3 years to build 2 pillars, they would no longer be building my house!
It is an outrage that Gurudeva has been abandoned like this. The area where the Navadvip samadhi is, is is flooded, and the foundations of the ground it sits in is weak. The Samadhi is abandoned for much of the year and no one is really caring for it.
Gurudeva wanted to be in laid in Samadhi in the garden at his sweet Govardhan Temple. He waited a life time to buy that particular land, because it was a special place, with significant meaning to him.
Gurudeva revealed to a dear disciple, that he waited a life time to buy that land, because when he was young, he ran away for a year, and went to that garden, there was a shack there, and Gurudeva sat there and did Bhajan for one year in that place, culminating in him realizing his Siddha Svarup in that very spot. Gurudeva eventually bought this land, and fulfilled his deep desire, as this place held such deep special personal meaning to him. He wanted that his Samadhi would be built there on that very spot, for that reason.
I do not understand how any person could move Gurudeva in his final days to Navadvip and lay him in Samadhi there knowing this deep desire of our Gurudeva's heart. I have heard that there were many problems, with money, politics and peoples hurt feelings getting in the way.
But the bottom line is that no politic or hurt feelings can or should get in the way of this final and great service to our Srila Gurudeva!
Now it is our turn to raise our voices and beg from the core of our hearts for Gurudeva, who is flooded with neglect, politics, conspiracy and water..... to complete his Maha Samadhi in Navadvip. I have heard from Brajanth Prabhu this morning that a Puspa Samadhi is being built at Govardhan, then when I announced it, someone wrote to me, who was there at the govardhan Temple 2 hours ago, that NO construction or Samadhi is there! But still this Navadvip Samadhi is in need of our vote for completion. Please every one sign and help pressure the leaders to do something about this situation.
We need to gather up our forces as a group of Gurudeva's followers and petition those in charge, to build a Samadhi worthy of his glory, sweetness and tireless help that he gave to us all. What chance would we have of attaining that supreme goal if we had not have met and been blessed by our Gurudeva's lotus feet upon the earth of our hearts? Gurudeva's Samadhi Mandir must now be completed, without any more delays or excuses!
Now it is our turn to see Gurudeva's final past time be done with the grace he deserves.
Please sign below, and we will petition those in charge to finally do what is right.
