The Future Is Darker

As of today, November 21, Colin Kaepernick is done for the season due to surgery for his shoulder. Kaepernick is a QB that has so much potential yet he most likely will never play in a 49ers uniform again. While we have to wait and see, York will probably use Kap's diagnosis as an excuse to boot him out of the 49ers. Typically, owners do not try part ways with a QB unless he has too many off field troubles and/or never seemed to form a good chemistry with the rest of the team ever since joining. What people seem to forget is that Kap had excellent chemistry with the 49ers during their playoff seasons. While Kap may have a part in his downfall, York has done nothing to try to help him keep his head up high. In fact, it appears York has been doing everything to get the struggling Quarterback out of San Francisco. The playbook has changed, the play calling has shifted, the playoff contributors are now gone; all happening with York's knowledge. As an owner of a team, one must never deliberately sabotage his or her own staff. Jim Harbaugh (Former 49ers HC) was fired despite the fact that the 49ers were not completely out of the playoff race until the end of the 2014 season, let alone after three consecutive years in the NFC Championship. Frank Gore (Former 49ers RB) and Michael Crabtree left after York constantly ignored their pleas to stay with the 49ers. Now, we are about to see Colin Kaepernick (Soon to be former 49ers QB) leave the team after York has made shifts in the offense. While Kap may be better off leaving the 49ers and joining a team where he would be truly appreciated, we still deserve better. While we may stand by our team, its owner still has yet to do so. Please continue sharing this petition. We are far from done. While it may be along time for us to see the Yorks vacate the front office once and for all, lets make their term even shorter
