All the students that attend Burrillville High School are affected by the constantly locked bathrooms during school. It's often hard to find a bathroom at school that is unlocked due to the school not allowing the students to use it. The bathrooms that are open are crowded, and those that actually need to use the restroom are often unable to.

Vandalism has always been an issue in public bathrooms in general, but there are other ways to go about preventing it. Not letting people who actually need to use the bathroom have access to it is a violation of basic human rights. Female students have had to go home early due to their period going through their clothes, the kids often have to wait long periods of time waiting for an available stall, and many also wait at the nurses office in a line of people who desperately have to use it. Why should these kids miss out in their education simply due to the fact that they have to use the bathroom?

There is currently no law that prevents them from doing this, but there should be. It's time to make a change because none of the schools care about how this impacts their students.
