It has come to our attention that Burlingame Intermediate School is contacting some families of students previously enrolled in the Italian language program at BIS to determine if students remain interested in continuing with the program. The school has recently identified a world language teacher capable of teaching sections of both Spanish and Italian so there remains a possibility that our students can continue to study Italian.

In order for sections of Italian to be offered, however, the school must understand that there is demand.

Please contact Assistant Principal Brooke Darmanin at bdarmanin@burlingameschools.org to request that your child be enrolled in a section of Italian language.

I would like to request that my child be enrolled in the next section of Italian Language at BIS.

Due to the fact that Italian language option was not listed when the registration email was issued for next year it was not possible to enroll. I am submitting this email request so that BIS administrators understand the potential level of interest among students seeking to continue Italian language instruction.
