Until recently Burger King’s Veggie Bean Burger was a Vegetarian Society approved and very tasty menu item! Many vegetarians and vegans don’t eat fake meat so are now left without any burger options at Burger King. I was raised a vegetarian and have never eaten meat, so I don’t want a chicken (the Vegan Royale) or beef (the Plant Based Whopper) substitute. The latter is not suitable for vegetarians or vegans as it cooked on the same grill as meat. Burger King is one of the most widely available fast food options in the UK & Ireland and much loved by those of us who for decades have enjoyed being able to purchase a genuinely vegetable based burger on the high street or at Moto service stations along UK motorways where vegetarian/vegan options can be painfully limited. Please bring back the Veggie Bean Burger - we loved it!
