I have friends who own a PlayStation 4 or 5 and would like to join me in Destiny 2, but they are unable to due to the requirement of a PlayStation Plus subscription. This barrier prevents us and many other gaming enthusiasts from fully enjoying our favorite titles. Destiny 2, developed by Bungie and published by Sony, is one of the most popular games with over 1.2 million active players every day (Statista, 2019). Despite this popularity, the requirement for a PlayStation Plus subscription to participate in the game's multiplayer activities significantly limits access for many players. We therefore ask Bungie and Sony to remove this requirement, to offer all players the opportunity to enjoy Destiny 2 as it should be. Players’ experience should not be limited by the ability to subscribe to a membership. Sign the petition to show Bungie and Sony that players want a true shared gaming experience.
