Update:

I need to be clear about something.

I am not trying to villainise anyone. I have no personal vendetta against any individual.

What I want is simple: fairness so the people responsible for shouting, bullying, threatening and harassing are held accountable so it stops.

Allotments are for hobbyists – not a commercial enterprise.

The council tenancy agreement says 2 inspections per year. That's ample.

But the committee inspects every 6 weeks – as if we are being performance-managed. They say there's a waiting list. They say the council wants plots filled. That's not a reason to hound vulnerable people.

If my hobby was model making, my supplier wouldn't constantly inspect my work. If they did, I would stop buying from them.

Why I got involved:

I have been shouted at. Intimidated. Threatened. Publicly shamed.

Not because I did anything wrong. Because I stopped the committee from doing the same to multiple other plot holders.

I offered to help. Multiple times. The committee told the council I was "undermining" them.

I asked my MP. He sent me the council's response – and they admitted they hadn't bothered investigating anything at all.

Two questions for the council:

· How can you make any decisions without getting all the facts?
· Why would you not want to investigate – as a matter of prudence – to protect vulnerable plot holders who were being made a target?

Some committee members are pensioners – like me. None of them seem to realise how much pressure they bring to bear.

What I want:

· The pressure to stop
· The AGM back – so the committee can be voted on
· Vulnerable people to be protected

362 signatures. Police involved (42/54633/26). LGSCO complaint reopened.

I don't want to destroy anyone. I want fairness.
